Hi, The kids call me Ms. Katie. I am the director of Tall Trees and I spend my days caring for the kids. I have a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time outdoors. My husband, Patrick, is a structural engineer in Seattle.  Our family includes our two children, Keegan and Kaylee, and our dog Beezley.

Hola, my name is Susanne. I was born in Venezuela and have a Chemical Engineering degree from there. I moved here in 2006 with my husband and two kids. I’m an assistant teacher at Tall Trees and Spanish teacher since 2017. 

From personal experience, I know that if you talk to pre-school aged children in a second language it will be really beneficial because they retain information much better and remember it for good.

Hi, The kids call me Ruby. I am an assistant teacher at Tall Trees and I live next door to the child care. I love watching the kids. I raised and home schooled my own two children, I am a personal trainer and I have taught swim lessons for many years. I have a lot of hobbies, as I enjoy hiking, gardening, clean eating, bee keeping, cow farming and adopting stray cats.

Hi, The kids call me Ms. Jeanie. I am an assistant teacher at Tall Trees child care. I have taught as the lead preschool teacher at Newport Covenant Church and I am a PTA board member and volunteer at my sons’ schools. I enjoy singing, cooking, crafts, and socializing.
